Transform. Protect. Guardian. These are just some of the adjectives that have been used to describe Snakes. Since the Garden of Eden, snakes have had a place in history as harbingers of evil, sin and deceit. But throughout almost every other cultural sect, snakes are regarded as protectors of their young. Protectors of gardens. Transformative beings able to shed their old skin of pests every single month. And last, but certainly not least, as guardians. Guardians that helped the Great Goddess, or Earth Mother, keep the mysteries of birth and regeneration secret and safe.
These rings are meant as a protective talisman to ensure that the wearer can feel safe when they’re put into a situation where they feel uncomfortable. To help them shed their old skin and emerge anew. Free from the pests or enemies that once plagued them.
The snake and moon design are hand drawn and sawn out by hand.
This ring is made out thick sterling silver with a wide band. It measures an 7.25 on my ring mandrel, but thicker bands can sometimes run a little more snug than traditional bands. So you’ll want to size up 1/4 to 1/2 a size for comfort.
